Mr. Shumer, graduated from Brandeis University (cum laude) in 1989. He received his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1992, where he was a member of the Hofstra Labor Law Journal. Mr. Shumer is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and was admitted to the Bars of the State of New York and Connecticut, ultimately settling his practice within Nassau County, Suffolk County, Queens County and the surrounding areas. On October 1,2013, Steven E. Shumer became the president of the 1st Resource Chapter of BNI, a worldwide networking group for business professionals.
